What if moving to a retirement community felt less like starting over and more like coming home?
That’s why we encourage you to join us for these events and more to learn more about life here at Frederick Living. Get to know the residents, team members, and family members.
I’m Betsy Natter, the storyteller, and I’m Lisa McCartin, Director of Sales. This is Engage Live.
Join us four Mondays in August at 1:30 in our auditorium. Dr. Jan Huggins will be hosting trivia and educational programs including information about the White House, black and white television and the Guinness Book of World Records.
And on Thursday, August 13th at 1:30 and 6:30, by popular demand, we will be hosting Frederick Living’s version of Family Feud, Frederick Feud, where team members and residents will be facing off to win prize money for the charity of their choice. Be sure to join us.
And then the following evening on Friday, August 14th, Adam Dieffenbach will be doing a performance for us. Adam is a local pipe organ restorer and he also is a well-known classical pianist and jazz pianist. He’ll be doing a set list that includes both types of music.
The following week on August 21st at 1:30, resident Lily Douglas will be doing a presentation on the history of lace making. Lily is one of the few local artists in the tri-state area really who is a member of an lace guild and she’s one of the few people that still does this long lost art and she’s going to talk all about the history of lace making and have a lot of her work to display as well.
There’s a lot of other concerts and activities happening throughout the month of August. So please visit our website at www.frederickliving.org/events to check them out.
We hope to see you on campus soon.
