Art Exhibit Featuring Paintings by Suzi Egan
Suzanne is a mid-western artist currently residing in Barto, along with her two cats. She has been an artist since she could first hold a crayon and her drawings were displayed on her family’s refrigerator. Eventually, she went to school at the University of Nebraska and earned a bachelor’s degree in Visual Communication and Design. After college, her art direction changed to designing websites and painting in the Impressionist style. She currently works as a freelance artist and is on retainer for Super Science and Amazing Arts in Florida.
Suzi enjoys traveling to find a different perspective of the world that helps inspire her paintings. While traveling, she dabbles in photography. Next year, she is planning on traveling and practicing the en plein air technique (painting outdoors) in London, Paris, Wiltshire and Belize. If she could live any place in the world, she would move to Charleston, South Carolina, for the beaches, the lively artist market downtown and their delicious food!
Her paintings are featured at the Gallery at Frederick Living. The Gallery is open to the public between the hours of 8 AM-5 PM. A portion of the sales from the paintings will be donated to the Frederick Living Resident Benevolent Fund. Contact Jana Alderfer if you are interested in purchasing a painting.
