ZIEGLERVILLE, Pa. – Lace up your sneakers and get ready to dash through the scenic landscapes of Frederick Living in the heart of Zieglerville, Montgomery County. The first annual Steady Freddie’s 5K and Sticky Bun Fun Run/Walk is set to take place on June 1, 2024.
This family-friendly event promises an exhilarating experience for all participants, from seasoned runners to casual walkers, amidst the picturesque surroundings of Frederick Living at 2849 Big Road. Hosted by Frederick Living, the event aims to promote health and wellness while raising funds for the community’s benevolent fund.
The festivities kick off at 8:30 am in the Frederick Living Bistro Parking lot. Whether you’re aiming for a personal best in the 5K race or simply looking to enjoy a leisurely stroll with friends and family, there’s something for everyone at Steady Freddie’s.
But that’s not all – the Sticky Bun Fun Run/Walk adds a delicious twist to the event. Following the race, or while cheering in the crowd, participants will have the opportunity to indulge in mouthwatering sticky buns, freshly baked in the Frederick Living kitchen. It’s a chance to refuel and treat yourself while supporting a worthy cause. The top two overall male and female winners will also receive one dozen sticky buns as part of their prize.
