Hello and welcome to Engage Live–a monthly video update from Frederick Living where you will discover the abundant opportunities you have to live with purpose in community. In this episode, Betsy Natter, Storyteller, and Lisa McCartin, Director of Sales, highlight what’s happening during the month of July 2026.

Coming up this month, we have lots of celebrating to do with America’s 250th anniversary.


First off, on Thursday, July 9th at 1:30 in our auditorium, we will have Sam Davis talking about the dark days of the American Revolution and more specifically about General George Washington.


And then on Monday, July 27th at 2:30, local historian John McFassel will be talking about the Valley Forge encampment and Philadelphia campaign of 1777.


Then on Thursday, July 30th at 1:30 in the auditorium, a return visit from Living History reenactor Debbie Irene Wahl. She will be portraying Betsy Ross and talking about stars, stripes, and the truth about Betsy Ross.
