 All Purpose Leave (APL)

APL time may be used for vacation, holidays, personal time, or illness.  A percentage of hours worked is accrued in the employee’s account.  During the 90-day introductory period, accrued APL hours may be used for holidays only.  Full time employees may accrue up to 18 days in the first year.

Health & Dental Insurance

Health & Dental insurance coverage start on the first day of employment.

Life, Short Term Disability &Long Term Disability Insurance

After the successful completion of the 90 day introductory period, full time employees receive life, short term and long term insurance benefits paid by Frederick Living.

403(b) Retirement Plan 

Employees may elect to open a tax-sheltered 403(b) account through payroll deduction, after the 90- day introductory period is successfully completed.  Matching contributions are received after 2 years of service and all other eligibility requirements are met.

E.A.P. (Employee Assistance Program) 

Frederick Living offers employee and their family members help in dealing with personal & emotional problems.  This benefit provides up to six confidential counseling sessions with trained, professional counselors.

Continuing Education Reimbursement

Continuing Education Reimbursement is offered after successful completion of the 90-day introductory period for approved courses relating to your area of work.  This reimbursement will be 100% of tuition up to $2,000.00 annually.
