The residents are friendly, the staff is warm and caring. Our home is a spacious villa with vaulted ceilings, and sunroom, bright with sunlight. The grounds are meticulous, and the facilities are very well maintained. A walk through The Meadows is like one through Longwood Gardens. Yes, we are in rural Frederick but have access to shopping, healthcare and great restaurants, all within a 10 to 15-minute drive. We love this place!
Frederick Living is such a warm, welcoming community. We take care of each other; my neighbors keep me connected to the community.
When it was time to move, we didn’t look anywhere else. We knew we wanted to move to Frederick Living.
We love to travel. Before moving to Frederick Living, more than once we returned home after a long trip to find broken pipes, fallen trees or another mess to clean up. Today, we just lock the door and leave the maintenance to Frederick Living.
Since 2018, we have thrived at Frederick Living, cherishing our independence within a vibrant, close-knit community. Alice’s volunteerism as a Marketing Receptionist and Bruce’s routine at the Wellness Center enriches our sense of purpose. The lock-and-leave lifestyle here has been a gateway to global adventures. Yet, it’s the daily connections and new memories made with neighbors that truly define our life at Frederick Living.
Arline Christ has found a true home at Frederick Living. Surrounded by a welcoming community, she enjoys sharing her artistic talents, whether through painting Sunday bulletin covers or creating watercolor notecards for the gift shop. She loves the friendships she’s built and the opportunities to stay active and engaged. Participating in the Wisdom Course deepened her appreciation for the life she’s lived and the wisdom she continues to gain. Each day at Frederick Living is filled with joy, creativity, and connection, and at the end of the day, she reflects with gratitude, saying, “Thank you, Lord, this was a great day.”
