Benevolent Care Fund
This fund helps meet the needs of residents whose financial resources are insufficient to fully cover the cost of personal care services or healthcare services. Click HERE to donate to the Benevolent Care Fund.
There are often a significant number of residents in personal care and health care who, through no fault of their own, no longer have enough financial resources to fully cover the cost of their care. In health care even with governmental assistance and paying what they can, there is currently an average gap of $190 each day per person.
Coronavirus Relief Support
Gifts will help Frederick Living continue to purchase protective equipment so that residents and team members can stay as healthy as possible. Donations will also help to cover the costs of unexpected expenses and erase the shortfall from lost income due to restricted admissions earlier in the Pandemic.
Special Projects & Wish List
Sometimes residents or others desire to match a gift to their own passions or the passion of a loved one. Examples are to purchase a bench for the campus in memory of a resident, to plant a tree in honor or memory of a resident, to help fund classical music concerts for residents, etc. Wish list projects are usually for non-budgeted equipment or programs that will enhance the lives of residents. Examples of past “wish list” items have been an extra “Nu-step” exercise machine for the Body Shop/fitness area, an “It’s Never Too Late” system for Aspen Memory Support and then one for Cedarwood Skilled Care & Rehabilitation. Contact the Advancement Office at (610) 754-7878 Ext. 1250 to discuss your ideas.
Employee Compassion and Relief Fund
In keeping with our core values, Frederick Living established the Employee Compassion and Relief Fund. This fund originated through team members’ desire to provide financial support to coworkers when they were experiencing times of need. This fund is now supported by donations from employees, residents, families of residents and other concerned individuals. The program is designed for non-exempt (hourly) employees and has objective criteria that provides for limited financial assistance to qualified team members who are in a hardship situation for which they could use assistance. The program is administered by the Director of Spiritual Ministries with input from Human Resources. Donations to this fund should be made through the Advancement Department.
