Engage Live is a monthly video update from Frederick Living, where you can discover abundant opportunities to live with purpose in community. In this episode, Storyteller Betsy Natter and Director of Sales Lisa McCartin highlight several events taking place on campus during the month of April.

Are you interested in learning about the art of beekeeping? Well, then join us on Thursday, April 9th at 1:30 p.m. Local beekeeper Dan Boyland will be joining us in our auditorium where he’ll be presenting about the art of beekeeping as well as providing some samples.

On Sunday, April 12th, the Phi Mu Alpha Choir from Kutztown University will be presenting a concert. This is a group of young men from the music fraternity at Kutztown and they travel locally to perform for various groups.

The next day on Monday, April 13th at 6:30 p.m., join us then for another concert by the Macungie Minstrelaires. They are a local theater group that will be performing tunes from their show Gone Country.

Do you want to fine-tune your driving skills? Well then come over for our Mature Driver Safety Program which will be held on Tuesday, April 21st at 1:30 p.m., presented by the Community Traffic Safety Coordinator of McGomery County.

Lisa, it’s time to sign up for the 5K. The Steady Freddy 5K and Sticky Bun Fun Run and Walk will be held on Saturday, May 30th, beginning at 7:30 a.m. You can find registrations online at pretzelcitysports.com or on our website at frederickliving.org/events where you can find that and many more details on our events throughout the coming months.
