Looking Back and Ahead

Over a Century of Excellence

In 1896, Reverend Nathaniel B. Grubb purchased land with the blessing of the First Mennonite Church of Philadelphia, establishing what would eventually become known as Frederick Living.

Fast-forward to today and we’re still following the servant leadership style of Jesus Christ. Now, we exemplify those timeless values with a passion for the future of the purpose-driven, pro-aging revolution.

We have a strong vision for the future. Frederick Living aspires to contribute to sociocultural transformation on how society defines aging, resulting in new language, new mindsets, and new attitudes.

We’re an all-inclusive community for diverse faith traditions, as well as those of no faith at all.
