Join us for an afternoon of music, faith, and fellowship with 2nd Wind Band. What began as two musicians playing traditional Christian hymns together for enjoyment and sharing music with family and friends has grown into a seven-member ensemble featuring clarinet, keyboard, accordion, drums, upright horn, and two saxophones.

Comprised of local musicians from the Gilbertsville, Quakertown, and surrounding communities, 2nd Wind Band is dedicated to keeping beloved traditional Christian hymns alive while occasionally incorporating contemporary selections. In recognition of our nation’s 250th anniversary, their 2026 program also includes several patriotic favorites commonly found in church hymnals.

The audience is encouraged to sing along and participate as the band performs familiar selections such as To God Be the Glory, Great Is Thy Faithfulness, In the Garden, America the Beautiful, Battle Hymn of the Republic, God Bless America, My Country, ‘Tis of Thee, You’re a Grand Old Flag, and more. This interactive and uplifting performance celebrates faith, patriotism, fellowship, and the joy of making music together.
