“I appreciate that MHS has issued a short, clear and direct statement affirming that Black lives matter. As a Christian organization there should be no question among our Black brothers and sisters where we stand affirming this Statement. It is true that all lives matter to God, but right now when Blacks generally are being questioned regarding their value, we cannot be silent about where we stand. None of our employees, residents or other partners in service at Frederick Living should have any question whether or not we affirm and value their full presence among us. Racism cannot and will not be tolerated at Frederick Living. Silence has a way of affirming uncertainty among skeptics”.
