“Abigail Adams: Founder” with Dr. William T. Walker

While John Adams, John Quincy Adams, Charles Francis Adams and Henry Adams are remembered for their impact on American history, historians have failed to adequately recognize the roles played by the Adams women–especially Abigail Adams. This session will focus on the life, thought and impact of Abigail Adams and also include comments on other significant Adams women during the eighteenth and twentieth century.
